Kim Lan Food To Go Reviews
This place is great for quick on the go Vietnamese dishes that you don't normally see in Vietnamese restaurants. There are a lot of options available to choose from. They're great to grab a few and then save for meals throughout the week (it's a great money saver when on vacation). Each box comes with enough of the entree, veggies, and fish sauce. I loved the Vietnamese crepe. If you hear it up in the air fryer the next day, it gets crunchy. Every bite was full of flavor. Things didn't taste stale..
My favorite place for banh cuon & banh xeo. My opinion their banh cuon taste better than thang long. It is thin and have a nice chewy texture. And I like how many varieties of Vietnamese sausage they put in it! Banh xeo bringing home also stay crispy if you don't want to eat there.
I always get the banh cuon fresh and it's consistently good. Price is reasonable. The gentleman working in the front appears to be the owner and he is always friendly.
This place is great for the banh cuon! I haven't tried their banh xeo but I heard a lot of good things about it. They also have a great selection of spring rolls and vegetarian food. The spring rolls upgraded to better and bigger rolls. The owner is super friendly and attentive.
Had banh cuon and banh xeo. Just as good as San Diego! Don't expect sit down, white glove service. As someone else mentioned, 4 tables. Lots of to go orders. Food already pre packed and ready to go.
I am always craving banh uoc (also called banh cuon)!! At least once a month before church, I call ahead and order a box of banh uoc for $9- it comes with about 2 pounds of banh cuon, 1 bag of nuoc mam, and fried shallots. They have a bit of a wait on Sunday mornings and you need to give them at least an hour to make your banh uoc fresh. Then I head into the super market and buy half a pound of bean sprouts and a couple persian pickles/cucumbers. Then head a couple store fronts down and buy a small cha lua. Bam! Lunch for 4. :) This is mostly a to-go restaurant so they don't have a lot of sitting space. I always take my food home. I buy my banh uoc in bulk but they also sell individually packaged banh uoc if you're riding solo. Super dependable and consistent for your banh uoc cravings!
Been going here for years! they changed owners maybe once but kept the name. I love the fresh made meat banh cuon. The owner is always in the front and his family is cooking in the back. Today, my mom ordered the banh xeo! it was amazing! it wasn't greasy and had a great crunch. I love the nuoc mam cause its kinda sweet. Plenty of greens on the side. nice sized shrimp (not peeled tho) with pork and bean sprout inside. My family loves coming here to support the locals. The owner is super nice and seems to know my family well.
